  • Mission

    The mission of the Floyd County CASA Program is to provide training and supervision to volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children who are under the jurisdiction of the FLoyd County Juvenile Court. The program focus is on avoiding furthur victimazation of children, educationg the community about the needs of abused and neglected children, advocating for resources and services for the children and helping the legal system to be more child focused. The ultimate goal of the Floyd County CASA Program is to ensure that every abused and neglected child has a safe and permanent home as quickly as possible.

    About Us

    The Floyd County CASA Program was established in March 1999. The Program has recently reorganized under the auspices of the Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center Harbor House. The CASA Program is an organization of professional staff and volunteers who care deeply about the welfare of abused and neglected children of Floyd County.
