Bread Basket of NEPA

Bread Basket of NEPA , an interfaith based organization, services individuals, families and Veterans across Lackawanna County to alleviate hunger in your neighborhood.

Bread Basket of NEPA is a 501(c)(3) non profit that was established 1984 to reduce local food insecurity. Bread Basket of NEPA currently supports 7 Food Pantries throughout Lackawanna County with the goal of providing the traditional non-perishable food items, as well as fresh foods.

We are proud to be one of the only organizations in Lackawanna County that is partnered with Door Dash, through their Project Dash initiative to deliver food to our neighbors who experience transportation issues which hinder them getting to one of our locations.
