The Standard Institute
Mission
The Standard Institute creates mentorship, opportunity, and community for young men ages 13–21, providing the support, experiences, and resources they need to prepare for adulthood with Discipline, Ownership, and Readiness.
About Us
The Standard Institute is a nonprofit organization creating mentorship, opportunity, and community for young men ages 13–21 in Conroe, The Woodlands, and Montgomery County.
We believe young men need more than advice. They need people in their corner, places where they belong, and opportunities to prepare for what comes next. TSI creates those opportunities through mentorship, workforce development, service, workshops, community experiences, and hands-on programming.
Our programs include CREED, our flagship experience for teen boys ages 13–17, and the Miami Love Workforce Lab, which provides young men ages 13–21 with access to technology, workforce resources, and support as they prepare for school, work, and adulthood.
Our work is grounded in three core pillars:
- Discipline
- Ownership
- Readiness
Volunteers help us create the kind of consistent, supportive community that makes this work possible—whether they're helping behind the scenes, supporting a program night, connecting TSI with the community, or sharing their skills and experience.
Cause Areas Include
- Children & Youth
