PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
Bidii Yetu runs several educational initiatives to empower and uplift children and youth:
We provide Early Childhood Education (ECE) and support activities such as football, body motor exercises, music, and cultural dance to enhance the holistic development of young children.
We offer opportunities for Form Four leavers to continue their education through online and distance learning platforms, targeting those who are unable to afford university or college education.
This program focuses on climate action and community health by planting trees and distributing seedlings across Kakuma Refugee Camp and host communities to combat deforestation and promote environmental sustainability.
This activity helps children express their emotions through drawing, painting, storytelling, and other creative expressions, supporting their mental well-being.
We train children and their parents/guardians in SEL to build emotional intelligence, empathy, and positive social skills.
We provide food and non-food support to vulnerable groups, including orphans, elderly persons, people with disabilities, and low-income families—both refugee and host community members.
This program trains women and community members in sustainable farming using permaculture techniques and livelihood. The goal is to promote food security, income generation, and climate resilience.
We empower people with disabilities by involving them in social and economic activities. This includes life skills training, sports, games, and inclusion in community development efforts.
