This means that in a vacant lot, your backyard, or your patio one should grow what they are able to with the resources available to them. Additionally, Sennel Gardens hope to create experiences and events that grow each person and provide them with tools and knowledge to advance in all aspects of their life.

Sennel Gardens works to convert vacant lots in the gardens and farms in Washington, DC. This creates employment and educational opportunities for the local community, as well as beautification and aesthetic improvement of our neighborhood. This work effort creates locally sourced produce, providing nutrition and contributing to improve health outcomes.
