One More is a community-based nonprofit ministry of Church at the Crossing focused on building relationships and meeting practical needs—one person, one family, and one neighborhood at a time. Our work is rooted in dignity, hospitality, and long-term transformation, responding to the evolving needs of our neighbors through hands-on programs and meaningful volunteer engagement.

Volunteers are essential to everything we do. Opportunities range from direct service and relational support to behind-the-scenes logistics and administrative help. Whether you enjoy working one-on-one, serving on a team, or supporting events and programs, there is a place for you to use your skills and make a tangible impact.

Our primary volunteer opportunities include supporting a neighborhood food market, walking alongside individuals pursuing employment, building relationships with neighbors experiencing housing insecurity, and assisting families navigating complex immigration processes in partnership with trusted organizations like Immigrant Connection.

Volunteer roles vary by program and season, and many do not require prior experience—just a willingness to serve with compassion, reliability, and respect.
