  • Mission

    The Honeycomb Project is the only nonprofit organization in Chicago, and one of few in the county, focused on family volunteering. Honeycomb works with 40+ partner organizations to create fun service learning experiences for the whole family.

    Through Honeycomb’s family-centered approach, volunteers of all ages spend quality time together helping others – while leaning first-hand about important issues in Chicago’s communities. Since our founding in 2011, more than 25,000 volunteers from 120 Chicago-area communities have participated in Honeycomb programs.
