Mission
The mission of the New Economic Justice Organizing Project is to build multiracial working-class economic and community power through organizing, developing new leaders, and civic engagement.
About Us
What we do:
- Leadership development: including our Organizer in Training Program, educational workshops, Political Information Team (PIT Crew), research reports and policy analysis, and public speaking training.
- Community Organizing: community meetings, door-to-door outreach, Faith Labor Alliance coalition building, and committee building.
- Civic Engagement: advocacy, phone banking and text banking, nonpartisan voter education, public comment, panels, and forums.
- Worker Organizing and Workplace Standards Programs: Workers Bill of Rights, Healthy Workplace Initiative, enforcement of existing laws, worksite outreach, support for workers committees and unions, workplace policy research, and employer outreach.
