We are a non-profit club devoted to delivering books and literacy, scholarships, and serving our communities. Love, Literacy and Legacy.

We provide monthly meals at Ronald McDonald House in Portland, for 22 years have recognized a non-Altrusan local Volunteer of the Year each year with a monetary award to their non-profit. With the help of a long-standing relationship with Books-a-Million, we are able to distribute new books each year for over 2000 kindergarten students in several communities to keep as "Forever" books, we donate books to the deserving community, support victims of domestic violence, and provide annual scholarships for 3 Portland High Schools, ASTRA students at Lake Region High School, Southern Maine Community College, USM or UNE. We also support Food Insecurities programs, Wayside Communities and Project FEED.
