Evergreen Pug Rescue

Our mission at Evergreen Pug Rescue is simple. Rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pugs in need across Washington state. We’re also here to help neighboring areas without a local pug rescue but our heart is here. First and foremost, however, our priority is local.

We are committed to providing abandoned, neglected, and surrendered pugs, regardless of age or medical condition, with the care and love they deserve, while educating the community on responsible pet ownership and advocating for animal welfare.

Together, we strive to give every pug a second chance at a happy, healthy, and loving forever home.

At Evergreen Pug Rescue, we believe every pug deserves a chance at a safe, happy life. While our home base is here in Washington, our mission doesn’t stop at state lines. Over the past year, we’ve stepped in to help dogs in Nevada, California, Texas, and even Mexico—places where the need is urgent and resources are scarce.

Every dog we bring in receives full medical care, a loving foster home, and the promise that we’ll be with them every step of the way until they find their forever family. We’re 100% volunteer-run, which means every dollar donated goes directly toward saving lives and supporting the amazing fosters who open their homes to these dogs.

Our values are simple but strong: compassion, transparency, and responsibility. We honor every donor, we stand behind our fosters, and most of all, we fight for every pug who needs us—no matter where they come from.
