Serving in the Franciscan Tradition, Poverello House of Tucson
is a homelike place of welcome and safe environment
providing daytime rest, food, laundry facilities, showers, and
companionship for unsheltered adults in our community
About Us
In 2008. Poverello House welcomed its first unsheltered guests. On one day each week, guests are welcomed to spend a day off of the streets. While there, they receive a hot breakfast and lunch. They may shower, do laundry and enjoy companionship. After rending a facility and serving men for fifteen years. we are now anticipating opening a newly renovated house that is owned by the organization. For the first time, we will be welcoming woman on Wednesdays. We hope to open on Sept. 18
