  • Mission

MDFF’s goal is to increase the quality of life for members of our community through advocacy, education, and by providing life-changing resources that support greater mobility and independence.

    About Us

Everyone deserves the chance to lead a happy, productive life. In the U.S. alone, there are about 250,000 people with some form of muscular dystrophy and

thousands newly diagnosed each year. There is no cure for these progressive diseases and for many families, support beyond medical care is critical to their emotional needs and overall health outcomes.

MDFF is on the front lines helping men, women, and children get the essential resources they need to live with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases. We provide financial assistance towards home modifications, adaptive equipment, and accessible transportation, as well as scholarships and family outings.
