Our Mission:

We treat scholars like family; improving

lives and impacting generational change

through personalized scholarships and

support services.

This mission statement was crafted and signed by GSSF’s

Executive Committee and Leadership Team on January 19, 2026.

It reflects 44 years of lived experience serving South Florida

students and captures what makes GSSF different: the belief that

financial support alone is not enough. Scholars need someone in

their corner who treats them like family.
