  • About Us

Pathfinders of Tarrant County Inc., a non-profit that serves people making the transition from poverty to self-sufficiency, matches volunteer mentors with individuals and families in need. Opportunities exist to mentor low income families struggling to overcome poverty, veterans, and the reentry population. Mentors from local businesses, churches, and civic organizations are trained to partner with mentees in their journey to become self sufficient.

Through an ongoing relationship, mentors and mentees travel together for one year on the path to success. Mentors make a huge difference in someone's life by committing a small amount of their time--3 to 4 hours per month through weekly contact and monthly face-to-face meetings. Pathfinders staff train mentors and support both mentors and mentees throughout the mentorship. We serve all of Tarrant County.
