Ragland Institute

Ragland Institute is an education nonprofit rooted in the deep belief that purposeful self-reflection and values-aligned action can move individuals and organizations beyond perceived limitations.

We offer hybrid transformative learning experiences rooted in the natural and cultural landscape of the Pacific Northwest for individual lifelong learners and capability building services for nonprofits in cybersecurity and team management .

Through our learning programs and consulting practice, we nurture confidence and capabilities to ensure people and organizations flourish. By these actions, we seek to inspire and aid the building of a kinder, more equitable world.

Located in Spokane, Washington, Ragland Institute formed in 2025 during a time of cultural tumult with a vision of providing lifelong learning programs for adults and capacity-building resources for nonprofits.

We are a private social enterprise nonprofit that operates on a model of earned revenue and in-kind support. Ragland’s nonsectarian approach and curriculum is inspired by American Daoist philosophies, the Bauhaus and Open Classroom movements, and integrates a blending of Eastern and Western contemplative practices.
