  • Mission

The purpose of Field Manor Foundation is to educate Brevard County residents and visitors about the agricultural and social history of Field Manor, through its preservation and operation, educational programming, and museum collections.

    About Us

Field Manor is the oldest house originally built on Merritt Island. The homestead dates to 1880-2, although the Field family landed much earlier, in 1868. Today, the home is open to the public as a historic house museum, serving as an educational resource for Brevard County, FL. We have 45 acres of citrus grove as well, plus 320 ft of continuous waterfront. Field Manor also serves as an event venue. We hope to provide insight into the social and agricultural history of central Florida by telling the Field story.
