Mother's Heart Uganda

Our mission is to provide education, health care and empowerment especially to mothers and children, particularly in rural areas where access to resources is limited.

True to our motto “every life counts,” we want to create a positive change in the community and reduce the maternal mortality rate to zero.

We are a small non-profit organization in eastern Uganda. Over the past few years, we have succeeded in establishing a nursery and primary school, where more than 380 children are currently enrolled.

We are currently working on expanding our healthcare services by setting up a small clinic. So far, we only have one room and one nurse who takes care of our community.

Another pillar of our work is the empowerment of women. To this end, we have various projects that help women set up their own independent businesses.

All our approaches aim to improve living conditions in our rural and disadvantaged community. Previously, both education and healthcare were virtually inaccessible to most people in the community.

We believe that our approaches can make a significant contribution to reducing maternal mortality and making every life count.

Volunteers are always welcome here. You are encouraged to actively contribute your ideas and skills, which we greatly appreciate, and there are many opportunities to get involved with us.
