Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary

At Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary, we believe every animal deserves safety, respect, and the chance to thrive. Based in Hart County, GA, we rescue and provide lifelong sanctuary to many animals big and small—with an emphasis on pigs—while working to keep animals with the families who love them through outreach, education, and support services. As a plant-based family living alongside rescued animals, we’re building a compassionate world where all beings are seen, valued, and free.

At Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary, we provide a loving home to over 400 unwanted rescue animals, including over 300 potbelly pigs, "farm" pigs, cows, goats, geese, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, bunnies, and guinea pigs.

We also provide crucial community outreach programs via our Walt's World program. Walt’s World is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Walt, our beloved gentle giant pig gone too soon, by promoting a compassionate, sustainable world. We advocate for a future where empathy, kindness, and respect guide our treatment of all living beings, human and animal alike through community outreach programs and initiatives. Walt's World offers low-cost/no-cost vet care during our monthly onsite vet clinics, free pet food and human food pantry, and help with rehoming or keeping animals and their companions together through resource sharing and fundraising.
