Mission Statement

To compassionately address the issues of hunger and food insecurity within our community by providing free, healthy groceries to those in need.

CALL Primrose is a nonprofit organization providing free, healthy groceries to low-income individuals and families throughout San Mateo County. In 2025, CALL provided direct support to approximately 78,000 individuals through the distribution of more than 110,000 bags of groceries.

Our services are available Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., on a drop-in basis, with no appointment required. Anyone experiencing food insecurity is welcome. Through our partnership with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley (SHFB), local grocery rescue programs, and relationships with food wholesalers, CALL has access to a wide variety of grocery items. We prioritize obtaining nutritious foods that address the needs, preferences, and dietary requirements of the clients we serve.
