Camp Bumblebee

Camp Bumblebee is a family camp designed for children with food allergies. The goal of Camp Bumblebee is to create a community where children with food allergies and their families can learn from, and connect with each other in a fun and exciting setting. Kids get to be kids and experience all of the wonder of camp, while in a safe environment surrounded by people who understand the struggles that come with food allergies. Parents get to connect with other families who share the same concerns and hopefully learn something new from each other.

Camp Bumblebee takes place at Camp For All in Burton, TX where the meals that are provided are free of the top 9 allergens and we accommodate additional allergies on a kid by kid basis. We were started by 3 moms who all shared the same fears and questions about raising kiddos with food allergies. We have completed 3 camps (one weekend per year) and are starting to grow our community. We hope to serve as many people as possible so that families can connect in a place that is safe. Many of our families are unable to eat out, or eat anywhere besides at home for safety reasons, so having a place where they get to go for 5 meals that they don't have to cook is huge!
