Reclaim Our Power: Utility Justice Campaign

The Reclaim Our Power: Utility Justice Campaign is born out of the resilience, vision, and strength of the communities most impacted by the extractive, dangerous, Wall Street-controlled energy system. We are building a just transition toward a safe, reliable, regenerative, renewable, affordable worker and community controlled utility system that is centered around impacted local communities. Reclaim Our Power believes in the liberation of all people. We choose to fight for an energy system that centers Black, Indigenous, people of color, people with disabilities, workers, and low income people, knowing that this is one pivotal piece on the path towards a liberated California, along with Land Back, reparations, and massive expansion of housing, health care, and the things that keep people and place safe and well. Justice is the goal, energy is the tool.
