Bay Area Community Resources (www.bacr.org) has been working in the Bay Area for over 20 years to promote the healthy development of individuals, families, and communities. Our direct service programs reach youth and adults in five Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo. Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) has an annual budget of over $10M, 100 full-time staff and over 1,000 volunteers. Revenue is derived from: Government grants and contracts (43%); Schools (24%), Corporate and Foundation support (16%), fees (10%), and Individuals/other (7%). BACR’s management team is experienced and highly effective, and the organization has a strong, supportive culture.
