Chatterbox Academy

Chatterbox Academy is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to communication for individuals with speech and communication disabilities.

Founded by Sara Loving, CCC-SLP, Chatterbox was created in response to a consistent gap she witnessed in practice; communication, access and belonging. Many individuals had the ability to learn and connect, but were not given the communication support needed to access those opportunities.

Today, Chatterbox is more than a therapy center. It is a place where individuals are given the tools to express themselves, families are supported, and communication is recognized as a fundamental human right.

Chatterbox Academy is part of a growing shift in how communication disabilities are understood and supported.

We are advancing:

• Integration of AAC across environments
• Regulation-first approaches to learning
• Inclusive, communication-accessible community experiences
• Education models that prioritize access over compliance

This work reflects what families and advocates continue to show. When individuals are given the right support, their voices emerge and their potential becomes visible.
