    Located in Augusta, Georgia, Comfort House provides low cost short term lodging and supportive companionship in a home-like environment for families and caregivers of out-of-town patients receiving care at Augusta area hospitals. Guests may stay at Comfort House upon receipt of a referral from an area hospital. There are no restrictions on the basis of race, sex, religion or national origin.

    About Us

    The Comfort House is comprised of volunteers and is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt not-for-profit charitable corporation. It is supported solely by donations from churches, foundations, civic groups, businessess and individiduals, including former guests.
