Kindred Spirits Youth Mentoring

Kindred Spirits Youth Mentoring connects youth in need of attention with caring adults in a mentoring relationship to nurture love and ignite curiosity, enthusiasm and creativity. We envision changing life trajectories, connecting people and creating prosperity and joy in our community. We value service and commitment, inclusion, a sense of responsibility for the quality of our community and having fun.

Kindred Spirits Youth Mentoring is a school based mentoring program focusing on serving students in underserved communities. We match caring adults with students for weekly one-on-one meeting on school campuses. Our approach on a basic level is to increase the attention each deserving child needs to thrive in school and life. Our mentors commit to one school year to foster strong relationships and a consistent adult presence in our students lives. All meetings are on school campuses to ensure structure, convenience and a safe environment for students and mentors. We focus on improving a sense of safety and security, a love of learning and having fun.
