Little Elm Area Food Bank

For more than 40 years, the Little Elm Area Food Bank (LEAFB) has helped ensure local families have access to nutritious food through volunteer service, community partnerships, and responsible stewardship of resources. We have a paid Executive Director, a part time Administrative Assistant and over 90 dedicated and caring volunteers. We are open four days of the week, Monday (9:00- 8:00), Tuesday (11:00-3:00), Thursday (9:00-4:30) and Friday (9:00-12:00). Our volunteers help with Intake, take food to vehicles, pack boxes, organize freezer and refrigerator items, and pick up donations from our local stores.

We are part of the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Our area of service is mainly the town of Little Elm and smaller towns surrounding us but we will not turn any in need of food. Our organization is based on selfless service, honor, and compassion. We partner with FLEAS (Friends of Little Elm Animal Support) to provide dog and cat food to our neighbors. We are supported by donations Tom Thumb, Kroger, Sprouts, HEB, Aldi, St Arbors Community Garden, Chick Fila, TXB and White Rhino.
