Help Out Today’s mission is to give underprivileged children the outdoor childhood experiences that most of us took for granted: fishing, boating, camping, off-roading, hiking, shooting, hunting, frog gigging or crawdad hunting, bushcraft skills, archery, zip lining, horseback riding, orienteering, geocaching, mountain biking, sailboarding, snorkeling, tubing, swimming — completely free of charge.

We started this nonprofit because a lot of us know what it’s like to grow up with a rod in our hands or fall asleep listening to crickets, and we realize how lucky we were. For kids stuck in the city, surrounded by concrete and noise, that kind of escape just doesn’t exist. No backyard lake. No family truck to throw a tent in. Sometimes no safe place to just be a kid.

So here’s what we do: we get them out. We make sure underprivileged kids get to go fishing, camping, hiking, sitting around campfires and more—experiences most of us take for granted. We cover every cost, pick them up, hand them a pole or a marshmallow stick, and watch their eyes light up when they realize the world is bigger than their block.

Because we’ve lived it—we know how different life feels when you’ve had a quiet morning on the water or a night under a sky full of stars. Those moments teach patience, confidence, wonder, and a sense of belonging that sticks with you forever.

Every kid deserves that chance. We’re just the ones making sure they get it.
