Through consistent group mentoring, Boys to Men Mentoring Network of Virginia creates a safe space where boys learn to speak their truth and grow into accountable young men.

We create spaces where boys and mentors can safely express the full range of human emotions, speak their truth, and be real about who they are and what’s going on in their lives.

We believe it takes courage to be open. In our circles, showing emotion is not weakness; it is the bravest thing a young man can do.

Since our inception in 2009, BTMVA has supported youth through our mentoring program. BTMVA supports 5th-12th grade students and works within eight school divisions in the greater Metro-Richmond area. Our service area includes Chesterfield, Henrico, Goochland, and Prince George counties and the cities of Colonial Heights, Richmond, Petersburg, and Hopewell.
