The mission of Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) is to champion the stewardship and conservation of Georgia's native plants and their habitats.
GNPS is a statewide organization with 9 affiliated chapters across Georgia. We work in local communities through the affiliated chapters to conduct educational programs and conservation projects. Chapters implement programs and initiatives locally while the state focuses on broader strategies, partnerships and administrative support. GNPS signature programs include plant rescue, restoration, community-supported propagation, habitat certification, and a variety of educational and advocacy programs. The GNPS 2026-28 Strategic Plan maps out the work for the organization for the next three years.
