VETERAN WOMEN OF INFLUENCE

  • Mission

To empower female veterans, we offer transitional housing, career guidance, and wellness services, enabling them to achieve success and fulfillment. Through our program, sponsored by dedicated partners, women have the chance to acquire essential skills in a nurturing atmosphere, fostering lasting changes in their lives. We believe that true self-esteem flourishes within a home, not merely a shelter or institution. It is within this supportive environment that the journey from homelessness to self-reliance, and a future brimming with potential, unfolds.

    About Us

We are seeking Volunteer Board Members to serve on Veteran Women of Influence’s board of directors.

Veteran Women of Influence was established to temporarily house female military veterans, it is a transitional home in St. Louis City. We can house 3 females at a time.

Our newly formed board (of women and men)will guide, support and provide information as we grow. Term limits are 2-years.

Just across the street from the home is...The Vandeventer Neighborhood Community Healing & Meditation Garden Park which is St. Louis City’s first public Healing & Meditation Garden (which the organization created & supports with community partnerships).

We are located one mile away from the John Cochran VA Center and the Tiny Veterans Home project.
