Food & Friends

  • Mission

Together we strive to cultivate an inclusive approach to improving the health, well-being and independence of seniors and adults with disabilities through nutrition services, meaningful social connections, and opportunities for education.

    About Us

Food & Friends is the senior meals program of Rogue Valley Council of Governments and serves Jackson and Josephine Counties. We offer nutritious hot and frozen meals for seniors, regular contact with someone who cares, and support for seniors who have a long or short term need for delivery of Meals on Wheels. Our 12 congregate meal sites offer a place for seniors to gather and interact with their peers while sharing a hot, healthy lunch. Homebound seniors aged 60 and older who need help with meal preparation may receive meals delivered to their homes by volunteers. Adults with disabilities who need help with meal preparation and who meet eligibility criteria may receive home delivered meals.
