Healing Horses Kauai

Healing Horses Kauai is a nonprofit equine-assisted activities and therapies organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people of all abilities through meaningful horse-human connection. Located on a 15-acre ranch in Kauai, our programs support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being through therapeutic riding, horsemanship, outreach programs, camps, and community experiences.

For more than 20 years, Healing Horses Kauai has provided a safe, supportive environment where children, adults, families, and individuals with diverse needs can build confidence, connection, resilience, and joy alongside our beloved herd of therapy horses.

Healing Horses Kauai is a community-rooted nonprofit located in Kapaa, Hawaii, offering equine-assisted activities, therapeutic riding experiences, horsemanship programs, camps, outreach initiatives, and community events for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Our organization cares for a herd of therapy horses while creating accessible opportunities for healing, confidence-building, education, and connection. In addition to serving local families and residents, Healing Horses Kauai welcomes visitors from around the world who are seeking meaningful, nature-based experiences centered around emotional wellness, personal growth, and the unique bond between humans and horses.

We are expanding our volunteer and leadership capacity in areas such as fundraising, grant writing, marketing, partnerships, operations, communications, and nonprofit development. We are seeking thoughtful, mission-driven individuals who are excited to help strengthen a beloved Kauai nonprofit and support the long-term sustainability of our programs and horses.
