  • Mission

Paint for Progress exists to expand equitable access to arts education for children by providing free, student-led art programs and creative resources. Our mission is to foster creativity, confidence, and community engagement through inclusive art camps, workshops, and supply initiatives, ensuring that all students, regardless of financial background, have the opportunity to explore self-expression and develop creative skills in a supportive environment.

    About Us

Paint for Progress is a student-founded, student-run arts initiative dedicated to making creative opportunities accessible to all children. We design and lead free art programs, workshops, and community projects that prioritize inclusivity, creativity, and personal growth. Our programs primarily serve elementary and middle school students, with a focus on reaching families who may not otherwise have access to structured arts education due to financial barriers.

Our values center on equity, community collaboration, and youth leadership. High school students plan and facilitate our programs, gaining experience in leadership, service, and mentorship while creating a welcoming environment for younger participants. We partner with local organizations, schools, and donated community spaces to host activities, ensuring programs remain free and rooted in the communities we serve. Through art, we aim to build confidence, encourage self-expression, and create meaningful connections between students of different ages and backgrounds.
