Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS)
About Us
TURNING LIVES AROUND
BOSS is dedicated to helping poor,
homeless, and disabled people achieve
health and self-sufficiency, and to fighting
against the root causes of poverty and
homelesness. BOSS provides direct
services in the areas of housing, health,
economic development, and social justice,
helping to turn around the lives of over
2,000 families and individuals each year.
BOSS targets people with chronic
disabilities and barriers, including mental
illness, homelessness, substance abuse,
illiteracy, HIV/AIDS, lack of job skills,
and other challenges. With support, these
individuals and families are able to achieve
healthy, independent living.
