    Southbury Ambulance Association is seeking volunteer EMT's and Paramedics. The guiding principle of SAA is to provide quality medical care, transport and EMS education to the Town of Southbury and neighboring communities. We maintain a fleet of ambulances with state of the art equipment and a professional and compassionate staff to serve 24/7 365. SAA responds to over 4,000 calls a year. We are a volunteer/ paid staff organization driven to provide the people of Southbury the best medical care and transport in times of need. Our members (your neighbors) are high school students, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, nurses, teachers, fire fighters, store clerk. We are looking for reliable and compassionate recruits.     About Us

    SAA is a professional organization that provides emergency care, transport and assistance to residents of Southbury and surrounding communities. On an annual basis, SAA responds to approximately 4,000 emergency calls. We have a fleet of ambulances with state of the art equipment and a professional and caring staff. SAA strives to meet the ever changing healthcare system, emergency services and preparedness with ongoing training, updating our equipment and collaborating with interactive organizations. We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and the dedication of our staff and volunteers. We welcome you to come volunteer with us. We have been a "stepping stone" for many who have moved on into the medical field becoming doctors and nurses.
