United South End Artists
Mission
The United South End Artists is dedicated to cultivating the arts community, engaging audiences, and promoting creative development in Boston’s South End. We believe that an informed audience is an engaged audience, and that art is meant to be seen, shared, and experienced. The USEA is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of artists and arts enthusiasts. Our events are made possible by charitable contributions from businesses, institutions, and private individuals.
About Us
Since 1986 the United South End Artists has played an important role in supporting creatives throughout Boston with opportunities designed to educate, expand community engagement, and increase visibility. USEA’s programming includes networking opportunities, increasing art and artist visibility online and in person, helping to grow engagement for artists, creative businesses, and galleries, and strengthening the connection between us all. Member events include networking nights, guided studio tours, presentations on the business of being an artist, and USEA produces the annual South End Open Studios each September, which is free to attend and open to the public. The USEA all-volunteer board is made up of artists and community members who are deeply committed to its mission.
