Bolingbrook Arts Museum

Our mission is to establish and maintain a premier museum in Bolingbrook dedicated to educating, invigorating, unifying, and inspiring the community through diverse artistic expressions.

Everything we do—from exhibitions and classes to community events and educational programs—is guided by this mission.

BAM envisions becoming a world-class museum that celebrates creativity in all its forms.

While our collection features significant works of visual art, our vision extends beyond traditional museum experiences. We strive to create an inclusive cultural center that embraces visual arts, music, theater, dance, educational programming, and community events.

We believe the arts have the power to connect people, strengthen communities, and inspire future generations. One of our highest priorities is introducing young people to the arts and providing meaningful opportunities for creativity and learning.

The Bolingbrook Arts Museum (BAM) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to bring a premier arts museum to the Village of Bolingbrook. The official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony occurred on September 25th in 2025.

Our museum is home to a growing collection of approximately 1,000 works of art spanning more than 500 years, including works by internationally recognized artists such as Picasso, Chagall, Dalí, Renoir, Rembrandt, Matisse, Goya, Dürer, Vasarely, Agam, and many contemporary and local artists.

BAM was created to fill an important need in the southwest suburbs by providing opportunities for art exhibitions, educational programs, workshops, performances, and community events that inspire creativity and lifelong learning. The museum is envisioned as a destination for visitors from throughout Illinois while remaining a welcoming place for local families, schools, artists, and community organizations.
