    Volunteers deliver two (2) low cost nutritious meals, five days per week to the homes of homebound elderly and disabled persons of all ages. The goal is to help clients remain healthy and stay in their own homes, rather than be institutionalized.

    About Us

    Gaithersburg Meals on Wheels, Inc. was formed in 1972 by a group of concerned citizens for the purpose of delivering meals to local homebound persons. The all volunteer organization has a 15-member board of directors, plus approximately 80 volunteers. Meals are prepared by Asbury Methodist Village kitchen and delivered Monday through Friday to clients within a 3-mile radius of central Gaithersburg.
