About Us

The West End House Girls Camp is an independent 501c3 organization committed to providing programs and services to girls in the greater Boston area, specifically the Allston/Brighton neighborhood. WEHGC serves girls between the ages of 7 and 17 most from families living at or below the U.S. Census Bureau’s measure of poverty. WEHGC’s multifaceted programming is centered on healthy living, fitness, character building, life-skills, girls’ empowerment, leadership, community service, responsibility, and team/community building.

The West End House Girls Camp believes that all young women have the potential, passion, and courage to strive for successful futures. Not all young women have the chance to see those qualities in themselves or the opportunities to gain social, educational, and life skills needed to realize that future. Our goal at the West End House Girls Camp is to provide those opportunities through innovative and focused programming as well as a supportive community, so that all of our girls will come to know their strength and become responsible and capable citizens.
