Mission

Black Veg Society's mission is to meet the BIPOC community where they are to transition them to veganism, or a plant-based lifestyle.

Award-winning organization. Recognized in 2017 at the National Animal Rights Conference by VegFund for its community work.

Led by a multi-award-winning co-founder and executive director.

Co-founded Vegan SoulFest in 2014. The first vegan festival in Baltimore City. Nominated as finalist for Best Food Festival in 2018.

Co-founded Maryland Vegan Restaurant Month in 2017.

Co-founded The Children's Veg Fest in 2024.
