About Us
Since 1971, Chicago Uptown Ministry has served the physical, spiritual, and social needs of homeless and low-income people living in Chicago's Uptown area. Our programs include a daily drop-in center, bi-weekly food pantry, after-school program, monthly senior activity group, multiple weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, Latina women's group, mental health self-help group, and several worship services (Catholic, Lutheran, and Baptist). Persons receive benefit of our programs without regard for their spiritual or religious beliefs. We believe in treating all persons with dignity and respect.
