  • Mission

Our mission is to work in partnership with schools, youth programs, community organizations, business and community leaders, families, and youth to reduce bullying and to foster a PEER stance.

    About Us

At PEER Kindness, we believe preventing bullying starts long before a hurtful comment is made or a child is excluded. It begins by helping kids understand themselves and others, by teaching them how to connect, how to regulate emotions, and how to stand up – not just for themselves, but for one another.

That’s why our programs focus on:

    • Empathy education rooted in neuroscience
    • Practical tools for families, caregivers, and professionals who work with children
    • Evidence-informed prevention strategies for schools
    • Empowering youth to lead with kindness and courage

Every time a student reaches out instead of turning away, every time a teacher sees the signs early and intervenes, every time a community comes together to lift its most vulnerable, we know we are making strides in creating safe, inclusive, and compassionate communities.

PEER Kindness supports youth and their trusted adults, grounded in the shared values of Positivity, Empathy, Encouragement, Respect, and Kindness by:

    • Providing support to children and youth in navigating the challenges of bullying
    • Educating children and youth on:
      • Bullying vs. Conflict
      • Conflict Resolution
      • The Bullying Circle
      • Becoming Upstanders
      • The Science of Kindness
    • Supporting youth through leadership, training, and community engagement
    • The PEER Kindness house is also a safe place for youth in the community to connect with their peers and trusted adults.
