With iMentor, you’ll guide a Chicago public school student in 11th or 12th grade toward college and career success. Over the past 25 years, we have empowered mentors to help more than 42,000 students unlock their potential. Now, you can be part of this legacy of life-changing connections.

iMentor focuses on supporting students who often face the greatest barriers to success, helping to create equal opportunities for all. We’ll share our personalized support, expert guidance, structured plan, and tech-enabled tools to help you build a strong bond with your mentee, empowering you both to grow throughout the journey. And mentoring offers you an opportunity to grow your professional and personal skills and network along the way.

At iMentor Chicago, mentorship is how we open doors and ignite possibility. We partner with five Chicago Public Schools to ensure every junior and senior has a dedicated adult mentor — and the consistent guidance to navigate high school and pursue a path that's truly their own. Mentors show up monthly, exchange weekly messages, and build relationships that extend far beyond graduation.
