Abortion Positivity Project works to destigmatize abortion and shift the public narrative around abortion away from one controlled by the anti abortion extremist minority.

Abortion Positivity is a framework of understanding abortion without any stigma or judgment. Abortion Positivity centers appreciation for the positive impact of abortion and recognizes abortion as a social good. The goal of abortion positivity is to strip stigma from the public narrative and societal conversation around abortion. It is NOT about judging individuals' emotions about their personal experiences with abortion or policing private conversations with trusted care providers.

The language of the 'pro-choice' movement is euphemistic, abortion-negative, stigmatizing, and ultimately harmful to abortion patients and providers. Despite the overwhelming popularity of abortion, anti-choice extremists have managed to control the narrative, stigmatizing abortion to the point where even its supporters are ashamed to associate with it. This constant ceding of ground led to the fall of Roe v. Wade and a modern abortion landscape that is in the worst state it has been in 50 years.
