  • About Us

The Arlington Food Assistance Center, thirty-five years after its founding, remains true to its mission -- to fight hunger in Arlington County, Virginia -- by distributing free, supplemental groceries to Arlington County residents in need. Clients are referred to AFAC by local social service agencies, churches and schools. As a heavily volunteer run organization, we provide opportunities for all Arlingtonians, whatever their strengths, to fight hunger in their own community. In addition, we offer a caring environment in which our clients can exchange experiences and help one another.
