Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of the Twin Cities (YNPN-TC)
YNPN-TC is made up of you: Young nonprofit professionals who see the value in being intentional about our professional development, and in building a peer support network to help you be more effective change-makers for the good of our communities.
We offer our members opportunities such as monthly evening events, monthly Leadership Breakfasts, skill-building volunteer opportunities, a 10-month Leadership Institute, and scholarships/discounts for local events.
We provide and promote opportunities for the development of young nonprofit professionals.
We envision a world where young nonprofit professionals:
- connect through purpose
- challenge to change
- lead together
We strive for respect and inclusiveness...
We believe better communities exist when all members are valued for their unique contributions.
We seek opportunities to collaborate...
We are committed to partnering with other organizations to leverage our collective strengths.
We respond to the evolving needs of our community...
We are dedicated to providing relevant opportunities that address the demands of our ever-changing sector.
This local Young Nonprofit Professionals Network is a chapter of the national YNPN organization. Beginning in 1997 as a small gathering of peers in San Francisco, YNPN has since grown from word-of-mouth and local volunteer leadership teams, to a nearly 15,000 members in chapters across the U.S. This rapid growth and mobilization of next-generation leaders clearly shows the need for installing a pipeline for nonprofit professionals early in their careers.
