Empower InvisAbilities

  • Mission

Empower InvisAbilities is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and advocating for individuals with invisible disabilities such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning and developmental differences. Through community engagement, educational programming, and targeted support initiatives, we work to create environments where every individual feels recognized, valued, and supported, regardless of the visibility of their disability

    About Us

Empower InvisAbilities is a youth-led nonprofit founded in Northern Virginia with a vision to build a more inclusive and understanding society for individuals with invisible disabilities.

We collaborate with schools, libraries, community organizations, and corporate partners to expand access to inclusive education and awareness initiatives. Through workshops, outreach events, sensory-friendly programming, and community campaigns, we work to ensure that individuals with invisible disabilities feel recognized, valued, and supported.

    Our initiatives focus on:

    • Inclusive educational workshops and awareness programs
    • Community outreach and advocacy campaigns
    • Sensory-friendly events and activities
    • Resources and support materials for families

As we grow, we’re always excited to connect with students and community members who want to help with events or even start Empower InvisAbilities chapters in other states.

We believe everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and included, and that even small actions can create meaningful change in someone’s life. Everyone can make a difference.
