Community Organizing Alliance

  • Mission

Community Organizing Alliance (COA) is a social justice, civic advocacy organization that educates, empowers, and engages young people centering the voices of Black and immigrant communities in Maine.

    About Us

Community Organizing Alliance (COA) and Community Action Alliance (CAA) work to advance racial and social justice among Black and immigrant communities through civic engagement, policy advocacy, and grassroots electoral organizing. We strive to create a just and equitable society through programs that center communities who have been historically underserved and underrepresented. Our work seeks to build a world where participatory engagement in government is valued and prioritized, and where people have the skills, tools, and power to shape their communities.
