About Us
Illinois Workers in Action (IWA) mission is to empower workers through education, organizing, policy, solidarity, worker power, develop leadership in the workplace, and offer resources to families and the community. The organization, Illinois Workers in Action, was established to drive workplace change for all employees, regardless of their employment and immigration status. Its vision is to equip every worker with the essential tools needed to thrive in their work environment. Beyond educating and supporting workers, Illinois Workers in Action is dedicated to uniting and empowering the Latinx and Black communities and offering resources for the whole family, not just workers
