Tutors Change Lives

We are here to help U.S. based adults, who are learning English as a second language, improve their communication skills and pursue more rewarding career opportunities.

Tutors Change Lives was created to connect compassionate volunteers with underserved, low-income adult learners who are working to improve their English skills. Our goal is not only to support language development, but also to empower individuals to strengthen their communities and, when possible, go on to serve others through volunteerism themselves.

We are interested in partnering with like-minded nonprofit organizations whose volunteers may be interested in giving a small amount of their time — as little as five hours per week — to support adult English learners through conversation and guided practice. No teaching experience or certifications are required; we simply look for individuals with a giving spirit and a desire to make a positive impact. Our tutors work completely online in a one-on-one setting with learners.

Our organization does not solicit or accept financial donations. We are privately funded.
